Time traveling back in time

Easter is here, and tomorrow, Ripper T Bunny will come to all of our towns. Well... all except mine. I will be on an airplane the entire day, so I will miss the event.

So I have a little question for you time travelers out there: What happens if I play a little in my town today and set the 3DS clock back one day (from saturday to friday)? Then, when I'm able to play again on Monday, it would be Sunday in game. Can I do this without damaging anything in my town?

Nope. You should be just fine. Although, setting the game clock is easier and won't hurt anything.
