Time Travel and Rotting Turnips

I time travel a lot and am currently two hours behind normal time. However, I have a lot of turnips and really don't want them to spoil.

I heard there is a way to time travel without having your turnips rot in the process, but I tried looking it up and still no idea what I should do... Can I get some assistance?

I think you can TT forward without them rotting. Any TT BACKWARDS however will result in them rotting instantly. If you're two hours behind and TT two hours forward, your turnips should be fine.

Just to be safe though, I wouldn't TT at all. I've heard the same thing that Krissi2197 posted, I've never tried it, but I've only heard of it working. <fingers crossed>

Yeah I wouldn't risk it...if you have "a lot" of turnips like you said just wait it out I don't like TTing at all, just causes so many issues for people. That is why I will never do it and have never TTed

I want to time travel, not for selling the turnips but for other reasons.

I found a way but I don't quite understand it: "You can avoid all time travel problems by making sure that the clock doesn't say the same date and time as it did when you were playing earlier."

TTing forward is fine. I've done it before and my turnips never rotted.

As Krissi2197 said, TT is fine as long as you don't TT backwards. However, if you TT forward, you can't go on or pass Sunday of the next week, or else they'll spoil. You have a week to sell them, but you can only TT forward within that week.
