Buying Tier A and B Bugs for Bug-off

It's currently the Bug-off event in my town and I still dont have access to the island. I was wondering if I can buy some bugs that can beat my current score of 97 with a meazly bee. I want to collect Bug-off items. I hope you can sell it to me cheap because I just started (like yesterday).. sob sob!

You can't sell bugs (the game won't let you). You can instead ask to buy bug furniture items.
