Thunderstorms/Weather in New Horizons!

So apparently I haven't been playing enough because I just found out that the thunderstorms in these games are AMAZING! I didn't expect that lightning flash and I was so excited! I know a lot of things in the game need to be tweaked and added, but it's the little things like this that make me so happy to be playing every day. I mean I've yet to see a rainbow, but I heard they're lovely too.

What's your favorite types of weather that you've seen in AC?

Weather that allows for rainbows. Thunderstorms are cool in this game, but I wouldn't want them all the time.

I think the thunderstorms in this game is pretty cool. They still scare me, though, even though they're just in the game. It would be scary if tornadoes could come along and knock you out. I have yet to experience the snow in New Horizons. I would hope that they added blizzards in this game, but I doubt they included that. It sure would be cool to see, though.

Thunderstorms are absolutely beautiful. I’ve witnessed one at noon lol but they’re definitely my favorite weather type, besides just regular rain and cloudy at around 5am.

My favorite weather are the thunderstorms too! I love rain so much! I wish it could rain every day on my island. Of course that would mean more flower takeovers every day so more work but I don't mind that

The weather and sky is done really well! You can feel when it might rain or when it's clearing up, and I like that rainy days aren't necessarily all day long. One of my favorite things about the game is the lighting changes from morning to night and depending on weather.

My favorite are the rainy days because I can use my umbrella and I don't have to water flowers.

I haven't had a thunderstorm yet but I can't wait to see one! The rain is so lovely, it just started snowing in my town too and I love how it changes the music!

I was very lucky to see a double rainbow the other day, it was so beautiful Chief and I had a great time watching it together ❤

Really liked the thunderstorm in NH, especially how dark it was in the game, I enjoy the rainy weather in the game.

Thunderstorms immediately became my favorite weather phenomena in this game. I mean I already like thunderstorms irl, and rain in-game, but the thunderstorms are so genuinely... frightening! They're LOUD and made me jump the first time I heard one and it was absolutely amazing. I dunno why but I absolutely love that.

I’ve only had one thunderstorm in the game so far but it was amazing. You really can’t get a sense for how cool it is unless you experience it first hand!

The first time I saw a thunderstorm was at 3am and it was amazing. The flash definitely threw me off.

I was standing on my big beach rock when I saw my first thunderstorm. It was super pretty, and the sky looks amazing when then "lighting" lights up the sky. I think my second favorite is the rainbow/ double rainbow. I personally haven't had one yet, but it looks super cool and I can't wait to experience it for myself!

One day it was raining on my island, and then the rain stopped in the afternoon. Later one, it wasn't even raining, and then it started to really poor, and the clouds looked ugly. Suddenly I saw lightning off in the distance. I was like where did this come from? Then the flashes got closer. In real life I would have ran inside, but I wanted to take some pictures in the game. I also like when the rain waters the flowers, too. I don't want them turning dry.

I just posted this on the rant thread recently but my town is perpetually sunny! I'm dying to get some rain and especially a thunderstorm! Really though I'd just like a little variety.
