Cause I suck at things like that and knowing me, I'll touch something and it will explode D:
Yeah... And I would give it into Nintendo for repair, but cause of the damage, I think it would just be better getting a new ds. It looks WAY to damaged for it to come cheap :LYou should be able to return it to Nintendo for repair. You aren't going to find an ACNL SE for cheap anywhere now.

I guess so, I'm just worried as I know if your system gets broke (this has happened to me before, but with just the ds) that there could be more damage that will take effect over time which Nintendo don't spot on the first repair. When I last broke a console, they wanted ?90 for a repair, and it was only ?100 for a new one. This is why I'm conflicting whether or not to get a new ds.Hun, it still works. And it just looks like screen needs replacing, is there damage to anything else? It's not even the touch screen that needs replacement by the looks of it - and even if it was it really doesn't cost a huge amount. Ask them, it won't hurt.
I know they look like it but no. It's where my dog decided it would be a good idea to jump on it. The parts you are on about is just the screen crushedAre those leaves under the screen..?
Yeah I was SO annoyed with her... But then she did one of those adorable head tilts. I'm just gonna save up for the acnl se 3ds, and play this one (which is currently annoying the heck outta me) until then. I did say I wanted the acnl 3ds, I just didn't want it to be this way... Now I can't sell my ds to get money towards it D:<Yikes! glad my cats don't think they can do something like that to my 3DS and survive. xD
Yeah, just the problems with me: I'm not that patientIt's an easy fix, honestly. The main workings are in the bottom half. I don't think you'd even need to take the bottom half apart. The bottom screen is far more fiddly to replace than the top. I don't know how much a new top screen will cost, what with it being 3D and all, but I honestly doubt there's anymore damage than what you can see. Anyone with a small screwdriver and some patience (and a good YouTube vid) can fix it.
