Thoughts on the Olympics?

I live in Vancouver, and personally I hate the Olympics.. I'm gonna have to pay for it for almost 25 years out of my pocket, the money is going towards new venues when infact, we have the highest population of homeless people in Canada, and I think it should be going towards them. Instead, we moved all the homeless people out of town, instead of solving the problem. What are your thoughts?

Yeah it just isn't as interesting as it was back then. It's sad though they are special events I just can't stand watching them, they don't interest me.

Haha that was rather misleading, you have a smiley face as the description yet you hate the Olympics. That is unfortunate though it seems ironic such an expensive event would end up in a poor city.

They opened up a ton of homeless shelters, to get everyone out of Hastings. But I agree, I blame Gor-dork Gordon Campbell. :r
