So, I got Rainbow Curse from my mother yesterday.

The game is great. Ironically, I hated it when I first saw what it looks like.

Please express your opinions.

What makes you cry? The artwork or the story? Or... :D

I want this game because Kirby, but I'm gonna wait a little bit. Gotta finish a stack of games I have already, plus I'm slightly worried it'll be short like most Kirby games tend to be, and Captain Toad was kinda short (no pun), I'm gonna be blah if another WiiU game is too short so soon. Either way I'll get it, I've got a Kirby amiibo that needs to be used LOL

I want to play this game, but thanks to Nintendo I won't be able to get it until Q3 or even Q4 (that's September and later for those who don't know).

Thanks!!!

The title is a dumb Team Fortress 2 joke

Sometimes if the "Spy" class dominates the "Scout" class he'll say
"May I borrow your earpiece? This is Scout, rainbows make me cry!"

Nintendo lowered the price because it's apparently not long enough to justify the usual price tag...So I assume it's another game like Captain Toad that you will end up getting out the way pretty fast.

Hopefully the collectibles etc. are more worthwhile though since with Captain Toad, they were almost all easy enough to get on your first attempt of a map...

Right I only had to go back for a couple levels and never once did I pass a level without getting at least 2/3 of the diamonds. It was really easy at times, but it did entertain me enough and there wasn't really much reason to actually do all the bonus collecting of golden mushrooms and what not since everything that needed to be unlocked was based on the amount of diamonds you collected...
I never played Canvas Curse so I'm not bothered by this "old" gameplay.
Iwish it was $30 instead of $40. It would make me feel a little better about buying it. Maybe I can wait and one of these stores will have a small sale.

Yea, I had around 90% complete with Captain Toad. I should really go back and get those few collectibles to finish it off but I know that they're just so easy to actually obtain that it's almost not worth putting the disc back in to do it.
Good game...Just....Really short and the really low difficulty took away replay value for me.

I'm unsure about Canvas Curse myself. I missed out on the DS games last gen and haven't had time to pick 'em up, so the gameplay is new to me as well. I'm just unsure about the price to content ratio after Captain Toad, since I don't feel that Toad was even a ?30 experience.

I plan on getting it eventually... but not soon. I'm already looking forward to mario party 10 and yoshi's woolly world, and wii u games are expensive. Maybe I'll buy it used in a few months?

Months? Eh...If you're waiting for a price drop, I wouldn't hold your breath. Even used, Nintendo's own games usually take a LOOOOOONNNGggg time to drop in price.

I don't get the joke about making you cry.

Yeah if ever because Kirby's Adventure for Wii is still pretty much the same price used as new and nobody even barely remembers that game anymore. New Super Mario Bros Wii has millions of copies out there but its still expensive.

Less BABYISH than Starfy?

...

OK.

Are you agreeing with me?

Ah, true. It'll probably take a lot longer, I might cave in and buy it new.

But if you want to get it used from GameStop or another store like that, you can get it within a month. I remember doing that with Mario Sports Mix.
