If you can "replace" Kid Cat with another adorable jock like Bam, I'd say let Kid Cat go. If no on could compare to Kid Cat I'd say let Marina go, because unless you have a replacement like Bam, there really isn't anyone as cute or special as Kid Cat.

Marina is the ONLY female octopus though, and she is REALLY nice, and interested in reading & space. (hence giving her a spaceman sam in her house) I do agree that normals are the blandest personality type & Kid Cat has made me laugh more.

I'd say Kid Cat by a thin margin though because there aren't that many jocks you could ever replace him with if you let him go. Whereas Marina could be replaced by Annalisa, a sweet anteater with a Japanese themed house (very unique) and other really great options like Skye, Gladys, Flurry & Mitzi--all really special sweethearts.

Wait I mean that Kid Cat STAYS! by a thin margin, as he's not really replaceable unless you have Bam, Bam is the only other jock IMO as cute as him. Still not a secret agent though.

Marina is just so adorable. I love the little bow on the back of her head! She's one of the sweetest normal villagers :> Kid Cat does have a lot of personality, but he looks sort of strange when he loses his original shirt xD

Kid Cat annoyed the crap out of me when it was in my town. Really, really hated him, and I never got him to move out. I reset my game, and fortunately never ran in to him again.

Jocks are my least favorite male villagers, while normals are my second favorite female villagers. That being said, though, my vote is for Kid Cat. He's not even close to my favorite jock but he's adorable- that little helmet, though! I had Marina in Wild World and didn't see what the big deal about her was. She's cute, yeah, but I think Merengue is a far better choice for a normal if you're looking for a pink and cutesy normal.
