So when I first started out on these forums, a user did something similar to this for Arbor day and I hoped that in the future I would be able to do something nice for all the great people on this forum too 
This Friday (May 9th) in real time, will be Tanabata in my Japanese cycling town. I will open my gates from 9am to 9pm PST in order to let anybody come over to get bamboo grass from Isabelle.
In order to participate, just add my Japanese town's FC (0361-8252-8049) and leave a comment on here with your town name, mayor name, and FC so i can add you back and keep track of everything. If you will be coming with more than one player from your town, please list EVERY player that you will visit my town with. It is okay if all of your information is in your signature, but I will NOT add you if your mayor and town name is not listed anywhere.
Since this is a cycling town, there are not many rules I have. (also I will try not to void any players in this coming week so you don't have to worry about accidentally picking them up via wifi)

Just please be sure to follow these few things:
- My event plaza is right next to my train station, please do not wander off without telling me first
- In front of the train station, I will have the Japan only Campus furniture set and Carp Banner for you to catalog. Please just pick these items up and then drop them off. They are all re-orderable so no need to steal them. If I see anyone trying to take my items, I will DC.
- My town native fruit is apple. If you wish to sell perfect fruit at my Re-tail you may, but be sure to let me know first
- You can also shop on my main street, but again let me know
- If there are too many ppl in my town or we get DC, please try again in a few minutes. I will re-open my gates every time if we get DC
- Please DO NOT pull the weeds. There are a lot, but I am saving them for weeding day
- Also DO NOT shake the trees. If you want perfect apples, let me know beforehand
- Tipping is not necessary at all. I especially do not want any bell tips (save your bells for more important things^^). If you feel like you want to leave a tip, perfect fruit and any black hybrids are all I really need.
- I can only add 100 people. I will post here if I reach this cap.
