Things you wish you would've known before carrying on with a PWP, or something of the sort.

It would've been GREAT to know that cedar saplings only grow in the northern half of your map when I was building the campsite. Now, I'm stuck with barely any cedars in the area. I'm working around it, though...
I also wish that I knew the police station would only have one of the two officers! While I like Booker's station more, I'd rather have Copper now.

What are some things you didn't know that ended up hurting your town?

I agree about the cedar trees. I wasted so many trying to plant them all over town before I found out on here they will only grow on the northern bit I wish I had known how much space the cafe takes up before I built it. I hadn't even looking at it in other people's towns, I was thinking it would've the same size as retail. Due to the position and gigantic size of it, and the fact it's permanent, I can't have a bridge next to it where I had intended to it's enormous, can't even see behind it like with most buildings. And I wish I hadn't built the campsite right in the middle of what could have been a good open space. I wasn't thinking when I built it how it was going to look when somebody was camping in there. I was just looking at it like it is most of the time when there is no camper. As soon as somebody starts camping it looks silly having a big tent there. It's not too bad with the igloo but it's another thing I wish I'd looked at before doing it

How to map reset. I chose a rubbish map for my first town, reset, and ended up getting addicted to resetting.

That you can't put QR codes up in display. I think this one is really reasonable, but on my first town one of my characters needed a QR dress but only my mayor had unlocked the QR code machine, so I had to TT to get it, and in the process I lost Fauna

i wish i'd known about map resetting as well! i don't really like my layout but i don't want to start over since i have all of my dream villagers and being a completionist i'd have to start my bug catching/diving/fishing collection all over again

I wish I hadn't put the campsite so close to the beach, I wish I hadn't built my house in such a stupid place and, back in my WW days, I wish I had known that TTing too far = losing favourite villagers.

I wish I could restart my town, but I've invested so many bells into it and I don't want to lose my favourite villagers and my house and my paths and agghhh

Oh yes! This is another one. I really struggle to name things I like about my map but when I first started I really didn't think about the fact you could reset for a different one. Too late now

I didn't know I could build the mayors house almost anywhere. I just plopped it down without realizing I had other choices. I didn't know you had map and prefect fruit choices if you were willing to keep resetting until you found just the right map and fruit.

yep. im on my 8th reset. my first town got the biggest tree possible and all other including my current one has 5 clusters
