Are there any things you miss from the old Animal Crossing games in New Leaf and do you wish
to see them in a new game?

I really miss the observatory. It feels like the museum was more "lively" back then and I don't
understand why it's not in New Leaf anymore. I mean, look at Celeste, she had much better
job in the past and now she's only there for the rooms and the "shop". And it wouldn't even
bother me that much if I had to paid for it to get the observatory (you know like a PWP). I
really hope they bring it back in a new game, otherwise it would be disappointing.

There are also other things I miss from the older games but the observatory is kinda the
one I miss the most to be honest.

I miss the balls you could find laying around in the Gamecube version ;-; You could kick it around and pass it to villagers. It was simple but really fun! Also the bushes (ones you could run through) and events like morning aerobics and the sports fair. There was a lot of charm in these touches.
I also loved the sign boards (you could have unlimited ones, pick them up, and erect them anywhere) you could put designs on, and the player statues that were built in front of the train station to commemorate you paying off your last home loan.
And of course, the NES games. I'm glad they added the two minigames in the update as an allusion to the original :)

I miss the original town layouts that had distinct hills. The closest thing now would probably be the ramps to the beach, but I miss having hills in my town! The balls, the bushes, and the events were awesome as well. I also personally miss the "Museum Crew" (Blathers, Celeste, Brewster, and K.K) all being under one roof, but I still appreciate the direction that's gone in. Otherwise there are just some villagers they didn't bring back in the WA update that I'd love to see again.
