Things to put in your town?

My town is starting to feel a little dated and I'm thinking about redoing some parts, adding some new things. What kind of stuff do you guys have in your towns? Most of my town is just roads with flowers and things, but I've seen some dream addresses with neat gardens and everything.

I use sooooooo many bushes, its a problem lol! but what about using clovers, dead trees, stumps and stuff? I like doing the dead trees with appropriate villagers and its a striking difference from everything else

My favorite thing in my town is my drilling rig. I love it, and I have a couple of rows of fruit trees behind it. I think it looks nice.
I don't have that much stuff going on yet. You always switch up the paths, too. That almost always makes a big difference for me.

I second the bush thing. They really liven up the town, also I theme my town in areas ( Illuminated area, flowers forest, zen garden). I also livened up my town by stealing all the different fruits from the island and planting those.

i don't use qr codes , so i usually just change the trees and pwp's around .

Using bushes and bamboo, tree stumps, and cut bamboo adds a lot of depth to the design, so you could make maybe like a place nearer to the beach like a tropical area, have bamboo and tropical fruit growing there, have a "spooky" area with dead trees and black flowers. I also like having a small area dedicated to being an orchard for fruit, so I'll have like a fruit picking operation, works especially well with my Farm Town

I made a little plaza behind my town hall with the topiaries and fountain. I know it's not very original, but it looks really nice. The other half of my town is forest so I'm trying to stick to more natural PWPs. I made a little hide out by the cliff/waterfall with a bench and a stump for a table which I'm kinda digging.

I use qr dirt paths in my town along with qr stones and a mosaic crescent tile. I like to decorate with ores, mushrooms, candies, fossils etc. It really gives a nice touch.
I'm currently working on my "fairy" garden, which will consist of the flower bed PWP, the scarecrow, flowers and baskets of fruit. I think It'll look cute! Hopefully.

I have the totem pole, that weather instrument thing, fire pit, yellow bench, zen clock and the classic police station probably more idek lol..

My town's name is jungle so I just added thing that'd fit x3

My main town is like a Zen town, so I'm using Zen PWPs, Stone tablet bus stop, rack of rice, wisteria terills and the hot springs. I have bamboo growing in some areas along with trees.
Trying my best with the flower arrangement right now lol I have so many, might give some away and also fixing up some areas.

I'm also using a qr code for my path, which is this green cobblestone path that has moss on it. which looks really awful in the winter

Since my town hall and train station are fairytale themed, I try to get all those PWPs as well.
So far in my town I have a flower arch (which I have to demolish because it just doesn't fit), two regular benches, a fairytale lamp near my house, a lighthouse, all the non-demolishable buildings, two photoboards (one at the townhall w/ Isabelle and one at the police station regular) and in front of my town hall I have a fountain and the flower clock.

Behind my town hall I have all regular trees and behind my house I have all the perfect ones. I don't really have a garden, I just try to make natural path so that I can run through my town, trying to fill the rest of free spaces then with PWPs and trees. My town is like 30 % done, still loads of work. /: The only thing done are probably my beaches. c:

I plan on planting a lot of bushes and bamboo in spring :3 I'm saving them all up until then. I also use a few decorative paths in front of retail, around the town hall, and the town square. As far as pwps go, my favorites are the lighthouse, windmill, cafe, and fairytale themed stuff (like the clock and benches). Feel free to visit my town if you want ^.^

i have paths arranged all around my town. i also have a fruit orchard with a pink hydrangea boundary. i have cute PWPs built around town, including the picnic blanket and wisteria trellis (still waiting for the flower arch to be suggested). i also have flowers everywhere, currently without a specific theme or setup.
