As some of you may know, I recently reset my town of Fristad and created the town of Tsundoku. As luck would have it, one of my old starter villagers from Fristad, Flip, happened to be one of my starters in Tsundoku. No big deal. Happens all the time, right?
Then I load up the game today and do some looking around to see that Eloise is moving in. Some of you may remember that a while back I made a post about Eloise moving to Fristad as my second Snooty villager. And now....Here she is. Now, lol, one villager from the town of Fristad is a coincidence. But two?
I think they know.

I read on your other thread that you didn't want to reset because you finally got Beardo.

maybe he'll come back too if Eloise and Flip did, lol

that makes for an interesting story, actually. like a town of villagers gets reset and the villagers sorta subconsciously realize where their home is, even if they aren't physically able to express that the town + mayor are familiar

I literally just got a VM from a cycler offering to let me adopt Beardo!

I loved the villagers in my first town and wouldn't have minded if they happened to move into my new town. Sadly, it didn't happen.

I hate it when they follow you.
In WW, after finally getting rid of Frobert, I visited a friend.
Frobert moved there after my visit.
My friend deletes his town, and visits me from a new town, and Frobert somehow moved back to mine.

It stays in the players memory slot I read.

You know what is super weird about this, though? Before I realized Eloise was moving in, I posted the message, "Welcome to Tsundoku. Okaeri," on my town's bulletin board. Okaeri is the phrase that means "welcome home/back" in Japanese. And then there she was.

a similar thing happened to me!! i was hesitant to reset my old town because i had one of my favourite villagers, Kyle. eventually i reset anyway and guess who my first move-in was :')
