Today there was a thread listing everything that happens in the month of January. However it was just a copy/paste job of the IGN page for that specific month. With the month of January nearing its end that inspired me to make a written guide with the same idea in mind, but not just blatantly copied. This was compiled from research from several sources (Thonky, Nookipedia, Animal Crossing Wikia IGN, ect) So without further adieu, I present to you the ULTIMATE Unofficial Bell Tree February Guide!

Fish, Sea Creatures and Bugs
The following is a list of the available catches in the month, and will be emphasizing the things that can't be caught next month. I will not be listing every available thing during the month, only the new ones and the ones that are going away. Also, bugs that are available all year round like Bees, Ants and flies are not included.

Dung Beetle (This one is complicated. First, you have to leave a small snowball around your town, and yes it HAS to be small. After about 7PM you will notice the snowball moving around on its own. Creep up to the back and catch the dung beetle!)

Please keep in mind that this guide is only covering the events that happen in North America and occasionally Europe, so Japanese and Korean events will not be covered. Events that are exclusive to either place will be marked as such. Festivale is not listed because its in March this year.
February 2th: Groundhog Day (North American Exclusive)
Nothing special happens on this day, but you can go down to the Town Plaza and receive a fantastic model of Mr. Ressetti. And fortunately you won't constantly wake up on this day! (Unless you time travel)
February 8th: Fishing Tourney
This contest is different from the last one. This time you can catch any fish you want!
February 14th: Valentines Day
Today you will receive a Chocolate Cake from Isabelle in the mail. Villagers with high friendships will give you Chocolate Hearts, and sometimes you'll get Purple or Pink roses! Your mom will also send you a Cacao or a shirt. The roost also serves hot Chocolate today!
February 25th: Grass Change and Rainbows!
Sick of the snow yet? I sure am, but theres good news for us! The grass is turning green again, goodbye winter! Snowballs stop appearing, so get to making those snowmen while you can!
In addition, rainbows can also start appearing in your town from 1PM to 3PM. This lasts until November 25th so enjoy the colors while you can!
February 29th: Leap Day
A leap day is a rare event that only occurs every four years, and sadly 2014 is not a leap year. On this day Isabelle will make a short speech about the day when you start the game and wish you back next leap year. The next February 29th is in 2016.
