I've always loved Halloween. The colors of the decorations, the atmosphere, and getting candy were always a wonderful part of my childhood. Getting to dress up in strange clothes was also something I really enjoyed. Even though I'm too old to trick or treat anymore, I have no trouble at all finding my love for Samhain. Part of it is because I'm a practitioner of witchcraft; the other part is because Halloween takes place only eight days after Agent Kite's and my anniversary. ♥♥♥

In the past, I've never once been able to be present for the night Jack lurks through town in Animal Crossing. This year, I had an active save file and had no plans to leave the house. So when 6 o'clock rolled around, I turned on my GameCube and set out hunting.

The spoils of my hunt:
5 Spooky Wardrobes
7 Spooky Tables
3 Spooky Dressers
4 Spooky Beds
4 Spooky Lamps
4 Spooky Clocks
3 Spooky Chairs
3 Spooky Bookcases
8 Spooky Vanities
4 Spooky Wallpapers
2 Spooky Carpets
4 Jack-in-the-Boxes
4 Jack o' Lanterns
2 Patched Shirts
1 Spooky Sofa

I had all but one piece of the Spooky set by 9 o'clock. I was hunting until midnight for that Spooky Sofa. Three times I accidentally hit B and was cursed by Jack for not providing candy. I cursed under my breath and pressed on. I had to get the last piece even if it meant using a universal code I found online to get it! Thankfully, with only 5 pieces of candy remaining, Jack finally stopped teasing me and handed over that orange colored Sofa. I spent 20 minutes filling my house to the brim with orange and purple furniture before finally saving my game for the night. It's 9AM in my game today, and I'm expected a nice little letter from the HRA. If I don't get it... |:<

Casualties of the evening:
-1 Purple Pansy by the lake
-1 Red Tulip by Louie's House
-1 Blue Cosmos right outside my house
-My affections for every single one of my villagers save Otis and Chevre, who were sweet enough to both be located in acres where I could easily avoid them. My disdain for Huggy grows even further. After I accidentally refused to give Jack the candy I had, she came up from behind and turned it into a jack o' lantern. I was less than pleased.
