i think my favorite of the furniture sets is pompompurin, probably because yellow is my favorite color and i like the atmosphere it makes in a room.
i kinda want to change my room to a pompompurin room, but i've had my mermaid room for about a year and i'm kind of attached. it took a while to get my room set up that way and i'm still adding on more and more stuff! i really like the aesthetic of that room but i really want a pompompurin bedroom too...

and it's not like i can have both at the same time! my house isn't a "one series in each room" house. it's just a house that's furnished to my comfort. the mermaid bedroom is the only room that caters to a specific series. the rest of the rooms have a mixture of stuff. it's just a living room, kitchen, garden, music room and closet room. i only need one bedroom in my house.

what do you think i should do? i'll probably end up replacing my mermaid bedroom with a pompompurin bedroom at some point but i have no idea what to do with the mermaid room. i could auction it, but there's extra non-mermaid items in there people might not want (like the gold cabana table and the wave breaker). and i can't put it in secret's house because i have all the rooms there planned out already. :(

I have that same issue with my house xD I really adore all the Sanrio sets, but I have no where to put them for now ; v ; I'll probably redo my upstairs (mermaid/ princess) bedroom so I can include some of the newer furniture ^^ I also plan on using a few of the LOZ furniture I've collected to make a tearoom/ garden :)

Do you have all 4 playable characters? I make other humans just to have more sets. It usually goes by theme. I have my main house with my favorite series, a home dedicated to food-related items, and another character dedicated to a school theme.

I don't really like my main character's house, so I'll be using her to show off the sanrio stuff when I get the cards.

you can always hold onto your furniture...? unless you're like, completely out of storage space. who says you have to change things and get rid of what you're not using? if you wanna use it again, then it'd be gone! and in the case of the mermaid furniture, that's kind of a pain. I'll never be able to use all the food items at once but that won't stop me from eventually having near all of them. :v

I just changed one of my rooms with the pompompurin set as I love it, I also added a couple of extra items from other Sanrio villagers and it goes quite nicely. You can always store the furniture you're not using, so put the mermaid stuff in the museum or somewhere? I'm clearing space right now as I really don't have any storage spare, but that's what I'll be doing

I only meant to change one room for Sanrio stuff.

I changed my entire house ;;

putting it in the museum seems like a good idea. the top floor of my museum is like a pseudo-hotel and each "exhibit" is a hotel room.

I'm having a similar dilemma. I'm fairly happy with the way my house is right now, but Hello Kitty is literally my life, so I'd love to incorporate some of the Sanrio pieces somehow. I like the idea of displaying a few sets in the museum. The only problem is, there aren't enough museum rooms for each set. DX
