There are many odd things about the furniture selection in New Horizons. Much discussed has been about what is missing compared to New Leaf - but if you dig deeper, it gets stranger on why they left out certain pieces.

To start off, NH has renamed versions of many of the 'Series' pieces of NL. For instance, the Kiddie Series of NL has now been rebranded as the Wooden Block Series that we can now craft. Despite that, some parts from those rebranded sets were left out of New Horizons - and it boggles my mind on why they are missing:

- The Cabin Series of NL is the Log Series of NH - Yet there is no equivalent of the Cabin Dresser, Wardrobe, Floor Clock, and Bookcase in the Log set.

- The Wooden Block set is missing the Floored Clock and the Wardrobe, and the Sofa - even though much of the ported pieces are entirely identical.

- The Blue/Green series are now merged as the "Wooden" set, but there's no Wooden Bench, Clocks, nor low-level Bookcase from those sets in NH.

- The Classic Series is now the Antique Series - yet the Sofa and Wall Shelf did not make it in.

- The Lovely Series is now the Cute series - But wheres the Cute Dresser and Cute Table? (Not the end table - the 1x2 one!)

The only series from NL that got 'completely' ported was the Mermaid one: Other than the naming, they were mostly identical in the Port. Yet that series is much more elaborately designed than those other ones - which makes it even more odd.

Something tells me the removal of these series pieces were deliberate, and I wonder why such simple parts existing in prior games were removed. Maybe a new update will add them, but it still drives me crazy that the ports of just these basic series are still incomplete.
