Wow...I was literally speechless after this movie. It's definitely the best "horror" movie I have ever seen and has the most tragic ending that I know of.
The movie is about when a huge cloud of mist completely covers a small town in Maine...and possibly more. Around 30 people are in the supermarket as the mist arrives and most of them decide to stay in the supermarket.
The main "villain" in this film would be a woman named Mrs. Carmody. She claims to be the vessel of God and slowly gathers people from the store to belive her. Marcia Gay Harden makes this role unforgettable and she does some terrible things.
Thomas Jane and his son (can't remember the actor who plays him) are excellent. Honestly, I can't think of a single weak link in the entire cast.
Finally, the ending of this movie is unforgettable. I still can't shake it off. I absolutely reccomend this movie to anybody intrested in it. Best movie of the year, by far.
