The Island

I dug up my GBA connector cable and went to the island for the first time. My native villager there is June the bear, and I'm loving this place, though there isn't much to do.

So, out of curiosity, what is the island like for everyone? Who's your islander? Any fun memories there?

I named my island Moombah, and my villager was Dobie. He was the shizzz. I used to go there and get really tan and just catch red snapper alll day and decorate my little cottage.
I love the island <3

My very first islander was Flash, and my current town's island is Elina.

I didn't have an actual GBA to play with flash, so I had to use my Wii and my GameCube's GBA player to visit. It was really fun getting loads of bells from Elina. Too bad I don't have an islander in my e+ town...

I wasn't able to go to the Island in my town on AC:GCN, but I finally was able to about 2 months ago. I am currently using a Wii and Game Boy Player to go to the Island. I have named my Island Waffles! (Don't ask...). I have Bud as my Islander (YYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). So far I am just using my Island to pay off my loan to Nook since I got this game in May. I plan on doing the Islander Quest, but not as of the time of this post.

EDIT: I now use a Gameboy Advance SP to travel to the Island

Gosh, I don't even remember what I named my island because it was so long. I think it might have been Dolphin though. My islander was Plucky.
