I always thought if I lose a dreamie by TTing as has happened in the past, it's time to move on a choose a new dreamie - and that has worked for me. Until now.

Julian moved out of Cerulean this morning and I couldn't let him go. I quickly adopted him into my cycling village and there he waits for me to complete the dreaded 16 villager cycle. Never did I think I would be here, all other dreamie dreams on hold as I relish having the slots available to make cycling that slight bit easier. No more monotonous cycling on my cycle town (can't risk Julian moving from there too).

How have you changed since you first started playing AC? Any personal taboos you originally had that you now cross without care?

I don't like to TT, cause it makes me feel disconnected with my villagers...

In my previous game, I got unexpected move-ins, and I really didn't want them so I started to TT them out. It felt wrong for me, but somehow I also wanted to get those villagers out of my town... Needless to say, I lost one of my favorites and then my town didn't feel like it was my town anymore...

So 'cycling' feels wrong for me in my town (I don't mind people who do TT, I see it as a way of playing the game, it's just not my style ;))... I restarted my town for that. Now it is a non-TTing town (only when I adopt someone out).

And now I adopted Patty out, and got the voided Alfonso in my town (>_<) Kinda regretting now that I didn't start with a new character to check... And the urge to cycle him out is bubbling, but I will suppress it! I shall not cycle in this town. I am finally very pleased with my town map, the starting villagers, my other current villagers, I will not risk it!
I once had Kitt as an voided move-in, but she was still cute to have around! I'm no fan of the alligators...

So 'cycling' is the game changer for me, as well as unexpected voided move-ins, as they urge me towards cycling XD

Originally I was against tile paths, they just seemed so unnatural is such a woodsy earthy game.
I considered dirt paths but once I found out they're destroyed by snowfall and you have to redo them yearly I gave up.
Now my town is walking paths and waterway paths and flower paths xD It's probably not all that crazy to most path users but it still feels unnatural in a way.
I'm pretty much over it though :)
