Well, who saw it? Who didn't and totally needs to?

I went to the Midnight showing, and I have to say it was absolutely incredible.

The only thing I would say to someone who has yet to see it is that, well, you should, and be prepared...it's a very long film. But it's not the kind of long that makes you think like "Wowww...when's this gonna' end?". It keeps you awake and on the edge of your seat the whole time.

It really is amazing. I don't want to spoil anything/talk about it too much until I know who's seen it and things...

Oh, and Ledger's acting was absolutely incredible. I'm obsesed with the Joker now, I'm afraid. D:

I am SOOOOO excited for TDK. I've been waiting for this movie for years and it's finally here! I'm going to see it at noon (which can't come soon enough).

Wow. I was about to post my wonderful experience, but I'll put it in here.

So, last night, me and my friends went to see the premiere of Dark Knight. We bought the tickets online, so we were insured tickets. We get them and go wait in a line for three hours, which was full of geeks and nerds... a few people dressed up like Batman or the Joker, my sister painted her face like the Joker. O_<

So, we finally go in. Most of the previews look awesome.

THE MOVIE IS AMAZING. AAAAH. I really really want to just go off on the movie and start talking about certain scenes, but I hate spoiling people. It's just.... REALLY good. One thing I can say is that Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker was incredible. This movie is also REALLY dark, but... seems there were just a few too many jokes. :\

Now the fun part, as the Joker would put it:

The movie was just about to end. I could feel the tensions rise, there would be huge applause at the end of the movie........... then the movie went black, and the lights came on.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Everyone went crazy. If it wasn't for the free movie tickets we got, there would have been some riot or something.

Okay, so the movie people got the movie back going.... at the credits. We waited like... 5 minutes thinking they would rewind. Nope. They didn't.

But now I have free movie tickets.

And Watchmen looks INCREDIBLE.

I thought Watchmen looked really wierd...then again I don't really know the whole story behind that. = /

Ultra, did you happen to stick around until after the credits? I didn't, I'm just wondering if anything happened afterwords, you know. Because, as rumor has it, there's supposed to be one more Batman movie to complete this little trilogy. =o

Considering it was 3:30, and we were all dead tired, no.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but apparently all the Ledger Oscar rumors aren't gonna come to fruition...

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Spoiler: click to toggle</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">I found this movie really sad. The end seemed anti-climactic for me. Joker was awesome, but it felt as if they through Two-Face in right at the end just because they could (like Venom in SM3). It was a great movie all around but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.</div>

I haven't seen it yet, but I was a Ledger fan before he died, so I'm definetly going.
