The Binding of Isaac, and The Binding of Isaac Rebirth!

Hello all! Since the remake of TBOI is coming out soon, I'd like to be able to discuss it! Did any of you like it, and if so, what about it? I personally loved it, with its rogue shooting goodness!

I love the Binding of Isaac, it's a great game. I've put many hours into it and almost 100% unlocked all of the items etc. Unfortunately my save randomly deleted itself, so I never play it as much as I used to because it sucks to start over with unlocking everything again when I spent a lot of time doing it in the first place. I'm looking forward to the Rebirth version as I'd be more happy to play that and unlock things again there! I wasn't too keen on the graphical changes at first, but I've watched a few gameplay videos and it still looks like it will be good fun. I'll definitely be picking it up.

Loved the original Isaac, hate the graphical style of the new one, but I am buying it and 100+ houring it just the same.

I haven't played it myself, but I've watched my husband play it extensively. I remember my first thought was that it looked similiar to the same system that Zelda Link to the Past uses. There's some creepy things in that game! Also, it looks super difficult, I heard a few curses being shouted at the TV a few times.

also. idk how much mom really is to fight or how many steps but i found her easier than most bosses. like that pee dude and lung woman ugh.

I love TBOI, it's one of my fave games on steam, but holy crap it's hard. Either that or I'm just completely useless xD
When I first got it, the Wrath of the Lamb DLC bundle was on offer, so I jumped straight in with that. I think that was the mistake. Some of the monsters from the DLC I struggle with, mainly the spiders. I know they're supposed to be easy, you find them on the first floor for crying out loud, but their movement is too erratic I usually end up not realising one is headed straight at me till it does some damage.
I also struggle more with some of the early bosses too. With the exception of maybe the first two, every time I've made it as far as mom, I've beaten her, but some of the earlier bosses are capable of killing me every time I get to them.
I've already pre bought Rebirth, can't wait till it comes out. Hopefully I'll be better at that than I am at the original xD

Yes, the spider..especially those big with one red eye and the larger jumping ones. And I hate the greedy heads and those that spits worms from their body lol
