The Best and Worst of a day, in a day. . .

So... Today was... eventful, to say the least. I'll try my best to keep this short.
I won't be very active upon the forums of AC for at least quite some time. I feel rather drained after such a turn of events.

Just today, I received a 3DS XL for a late Christmas present (Early birthday). I was so excited, happy, ect. I immediately took my old 3DS and began to transfer data from the old one to the new. Along with AC:NL (As I had downloaded it from the Eshop). After the transfer, both 3DS restarted, the old one was completely wipped, as it should be.

And my new 3DS received all the data. I had to Re-download AC from the shop, and after it was completed I jumped back on, only to find all my data had been lost.
I don't know how, I checked both SD cards, ect. It's gone, and I'm rather devastated. I feel that I won't be in the mood for AC:NL anytime soon. I lost my Dreamies... (Just recently acquired Willow, too.) I lost my millions of Bells. I lost all my Hybrids, my golden tools, my upgrades... All gone. Almost a year of playing wasted.

Haah... Sorry to bother you with my sulking, I'm just too upset to do much else with the game at the moment.

I really don't know what to say I feel so bad and I don't know how transferring works over 3ds so I can't give any advice on that.

I am happy to help any way I can when/if you decide to come back to these forums and AC:NL. Dreamies, bells, hybrids, it doesn't matter. Myself and many other generous ppl in these forums would be happy to get you back on your feet

I understand tho that you would want to take an extended break at the very least after having that happen to you. I'm so sry =/

Thank you so much for your kind words, it really means a lot to know that I can at least express how much I did truly love this game.
And I'm well aware there are so, so many generous people in this community, I've experienced it myself even. Though yes, I do plan on taking a break from my new little town of Crusade. (Hey, Atleast Whitney was one of the starters, so I can at least smile about that a little~.)

Awe I'm really really sorry this has happened! This actually happened to me a while back and I was DEVASTATED DX

The best thing to do is to probably take a break like you are doing

Just think, when you do start again you can get that perfect town layout and your favourite native fruit

I don't blame you for wanting to take time away, I would do the exact same thing. After lots of tears I would just put the game down and not come back for a long time. :c

When you do decide to come back I'll help you out in any way that I can! I feel terrible that this happened to you...
Sometimes starting fresh is a good thing though! Hopefully you'll get everything that you had back quickly.

Thank you all SO much for all the support. Me and my friend ran around in my new town just quietly staring at the things that use to be so much better! X,D (Town Tree, My house, Ect.) It was sad times, indeed.
