What is this?
The Bell Forest is an interactive RP that uses a game. You create a character, and explore the world, gathering items, experience points, leveling up, defeating enemies, and more. There are weekly updates to keep the game fresh that include new areas, enemies, items, quests, and more.

FAQ:
Q: How do I trade items?
A: To trade items, click on the desired item with your mouse. A pop-up menu appears. Click the 'Send' box. Your item is taken out of your inventory and sent to your desktop as a unique .BFI file. Host it on a site, and send the link to your friend. Your friend can download the .BFI file, and go to a Pigeon Post to receive it.

Q: How do I move?
A: Use W to jump, A to move left, and D to move right.

Q: How do I save?
A: Press F1 while playing.

Q: How do I use a Pigeon Post?
A: Press S while near a Pigeon Post to use it.
 
Hmm, I'll have to sneak all the dls by my parents, but count me in Fabs!
 
Zelandonia actually tried something like this, but it didn't work.

I'm all for it, as an RP for TBT has been talked about between myself and Storm.
 
Oh don't worry, the game itself will be only 1 megabyte, 2 at most, and each update will be held in a .TXT file only around 35 KB.

So it could be a online Animal Crossing for computers or something like that? I'm all for that.

No, it's not an MMO. It's more of a single player experience with a small multiplayer element including:

-Trading items using files
-Downloadable (Again, file sizes will be in KBs) user-updates like custom stores, homes, bulletins, and more

Alright, then. Progress on the game has begun. I'm a fast worker; expect the RP to begin in two days or less. The official game will have:

Customizable characters
Free roaming environments
Trading and other multiplayer features
Money system, many NPCs and skills
Saving/Loading system
Weekly (if not less than weekly) updates including activities, new areas, and more
And more

Still loves Mr. Fabio. Now I can't wait for this weekend.
 
Well end of day one and beginning of day two of game production. Here's what I have so far:

-Working menu
-Character customization engine
-Saving/Loading
-Part of the first area tutorial
-The enemy/Bell/XP/HP/Level system and interface


Plans for today:

-Work on user-created material engine (Bulletins, etc.)
-Create more areas and enemies
-Add options (configure controls, etc.)
-Inventory system
 
Enemies..?

Just make it so I can fish and catch bugs, that's all I want.

How long will this last? till you get bored of it?
