The Backloggery
Instead of advertising a typical forum or blog, I am advertising a website that is pretty cool - it is called The Backloggery.
Basically, it is a website where you can add games you have played whether it be rented, formerly owned or currently owned or played through emulation. After you enter all the games you've ever played, you can see a bar graph of unfinished, beaten and completed games. This is pretty useful because it can be a tool to use to get the most out of your games. Now of course someone can just lie and say they mastered 500 games but anyone can do that. This website is just a good place to share with other gamers like yourself and keep track of your gaming history.
Think of The Backloggery as your own personal video game journal.
If you want to see what one of these 'Backlogs' look like, click on the image in my sig - it'll send you to my own Backloggery page.
