The 2 a day mail limit to other players...

Does anyone else detest this feature? I don't even see a point to it? I know it's probably to stop spam but with 100+ worth of letter space I really doubt someone would go out there way to manually spam someone over 100 times. Problem is I sent my friend 2 letters this morning and they hide their online status, so I can't DM them in game. Is there anyway I can contact them?

The 5 a day catalog limit also sucks, especially when some items like the book wallpapers require 10 books but you can only order 5. Apologies for ranting, just needed to get that off my chest.

Gosh yeah, my fiancee and I like to send each other letters and items and the limit is so stifling.

If you're okay with have other profiles, I've been using my 2nd and 3rd profile to extend the 5 per day limit to 15. Good for lights and panels. I would unlock the item on the 2nd and 3rd profile by dropping it outside of RS alongside the money bags. Then use what I cataloged to buy and send directly to my main profile. You only have to unlock the item once.

I don't mail stuff much but I can see why it'd be annoying. I'm more bothered by the 5 per day ordering limit I get it with nook miles items, but there are so many things in the shopping catalog! 10 per day would be much more reasonable

It's to limit spamming other players and potentially filling up their mailboxes as those too have a limit. I don't see anything wrong with it personally.

Fair question, my 2nd and 3rd account are actually being utilized so it's not a bother. 2nd is my son's and I log in daily (Since he doesn't have infinite screen time) to get the consecutive bonus Nook Miles from the kiosk. In the case I'm working on an area with my main and need more of lanterns or lights, that's when I use his account to buy stuff and send to my account, using my bells so he can continue farming on his. My 3rd account is a cafe account and I really only use it if I can't wait for the next day and must finish said project (usually on weekends).

I don't tend to time travel specifically because I feel as if when I fully do it, I can't put the game down since I can technically finish any projects, lol. So it's more of a me/personal thing and not wanting to burn out.

I didn't know there was a limit for letters, but I've never encountered that myself.

The catalog limit is beyond irritating though. If they want to make a limit then at least up it to 10.

ordering from the catalog would feel a lot better if the limit was ten. i see why it's five for nook miles items, that seems rather reasonable. a limit of 2 letters to friends though? like i honestly don't have the friends to send letters to, but is it 2 per person or 2 overall? either way, that's really restrictive.

It's a pretty silly, arbitrary limit. Since you get Tanuki Miles for visiting others' islands, I often opt to just visit my friends directly if we're both online and playing at the same time, haha.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed by that limit too. I was trying to send my gf an outfit via mail and couldn't even give her the full ensemble, lol.

I'm not really sure why there's a limit in place, especially on a per-day basis. It seems to incentivize time-traveling, which makes no sense to me.

It's 2 letters per person, as far as I can recall.
It's a pretty ridiculous limit if you don't even have that many friends to play with in the first place.

Yeah it's sort of a pain. In the beginning when I was decorating my island a lot more it was so annoying. Now that most of my island is completed for now, it's not so bad.
