In my town, I have a pretty impressive N64 logo made of flowers. I had 8 villagers recently, so I was susceptible to random move ins. I was so worried that a new villager was going to move right on top of it. Not only is it full of jacobs ladders, but it is in a rare spot where I actually have enough room (it's something like 8 by 6 spaces)

Today, I got the random move in. Paula moved LITERALLY right in front of it, just barely avoiding taking out a bunch of flowers! That was so close. Luckily, so long as I have Paula there I probably won't have anyone move in on the N64 logo since she's so close to it. But seriously, I missed the plot being put down, so I nearly had a heart attack when I saw where she was on the map!

Edit: okay, she did take out ONE flower, but it was a blue pansy so who cares.

Something similar happened to me, only mine went down the bad route. I spent ages laying down some nice new hybrids and bushes, which took forever to set up properly. The next day Charlise decided to park her house right on top of my work.

I was kind of angry about it, and spent weeks trying to get her out. The main reason I don't like her now. =P

I feel sorry for that blue pansy.

Sly moved right in front of the Town Hall. I like him, but I wouldn't mind him moving~

Poor blue pansy.
I also had a heart attack when Teddy moved in, because he moved in right in front of that flower garden of mine. Right next to the pansy patch.
But no flowers were murdered, luckily.

Close call! xD

I want to see the logo! Do you have a pic? o:

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures before Paula moved in (unless you want pictures partially covered by a house), but I'm pretty sure you can see it in my dream town since I haven't updated in a while (4300-2298-0534)

Whoa! An N64 logo made of flowers sounds rad o: But yeah Before I knew about plot resetting I had Tom move in and take out a good number of blue pansies. And Papi got rid of nearly all of my orange lilies but I liked his house placement (he moved right where my other lazy horse used to live lol)

Same situation,There was i with 8 villagers i was happy and sad that muffy moved away (Without telling me T^T) because i liked her a lot but she had the most inconvenient spot ever: right in front on the town hall,i liked her so much i was doing a checkered pattern of orange and black lilies around her house.
The next day i wasn't aware that i was going to have a random move-in so i didn't plot reset (I didn't plot resetted for Muffy because at the time she moved in i didn't knew how to do it )So,there was i doing my happy morning stroll and BANG almost in the same spot muffy leaved the most indesirable uchi EVER appears,Diva ugh,and to make me hate her more than i already hate dshe killed an innocent orange lily and i'm still mad with this obnoxious and disgusting frog(I have to few orange lilies and she killed the poor flower)

shydragon - youv'e been lucky - how much room is there behind & around Paula - villagers can move in very close to one another: maybe just one space clearance?
I'd put a temp small PWP (street light) in that logo of flowers (yes I know destroy your own work) to prevent your 10th villager chosing that area.
Either that or its loading up each day (when a new villager is possible) with a new save file.

I had an alt character's house a few spaces away from a cliff edge/with the river 2 spaces in front - so thought the area to the side bounded by the cliff was safe for breeding hybrids
- but I got Tia who managed to squeeze her house in beside the alt's - one space between her & the alt & one space to the cliff edge) taking out the hybrids. (I think it's only one space clearance - would have to check, definitely very tight, & certainly did not look big enough for a villagers house).
