So Puddles just asked me to get her a sea bass and as you all know sea basses are super common and are irritating because they're not worth much and are shaped like other more valuable fish. Well i can't seem to catch one!!!! It seems like villagers always ask for things when they're scarce or the game decides to be mean and not spawn the things we're looking for......It always throws me off when things like this happen, which in my experience in playing Animal Crossing is a lot!!! I'd like to know if this happens to you guys and what the most irritating or unbelievable moments are!!! I'd also like to point out that puddles already has two sea bass in her home. What does she want them for? She's a frog.... I don't think frogs eat fish or do they? Seems a little fishy to me. I guess i'll never know.

Well... I guess the same thing happened to me when Winnie wanted me to catch a scorpion .-. Otherwise I always find the things almost immediately.

For me, my neighbours usually just ask for tricky things... like Marcie asked me recently for a Napoleanfish. I have only managed to find one of those the entire time I have been playing the game... so of course I couldn't find one.

lmao peanut asked me to catch her a black bass the other day. usually, i'd say yes and not do it, but because it's peanut i gave it a shot. i couldn't catch one!!! it annoyed me so i gave up and continued with my daily tasks.

Lobo asked for a pondskater right after I donated the first one I caught to the museum.
Another didn't show up.

My town is very fond of Oceanfishes. They seem to have a competition of who's going to get it first, but I have to find it.
I keep declining it because I know I am not going to catch it.

Eh these things happen all the time, I suggest that you either keep on trying or just skip it because as long as you agreed to help a villager u get friendship points added ^^

Well Hamlet once asked me to catch a stringfish I said okay but didn't catch anything for him. And anyways I don't usually do requests where a villager will ask me to catch a bug or fish for them because if the potential incident of them ruining their house.

Man I remember when Hans asked me to get him a pear, and at the time I didn't have one of every fruit growing in my town. I figure I'd find some growing after a bit of island hopping and tour-going.

And I didn't.

I must've went on all the tours to check for fruits, went to the NA and international islands (mine doesn't have any normal fruit trees) a few times, went to THEIR tours as well, and no pears. None. I just gave up after that. How can it be so hard to find a freakin' pear?
