I haven't seen and Terraria threads yet, so I thought I'd make one! Sorry to anyone who already has! Feel free to discuss the marvelous PC game, Terraria. Also, here's a question, which form of attacks do you most use? Melee, range, magic, or summon?

Yeah I have it on Steam.. I don't play much nowadays cause I lost my save files way back and too lazy to do all the bosses after hard mode..

Just doing casual play for now.. melee preferably.. sometimes magic.

Arguably one of my most "worth it" games on Steam, with 1.2k hours played o,o

As for my favourite attack type.. it changes depending on what part of the game I'm in, I guess. For the most part, it's Ranged weaponry (Bows, guns, etc) - I'm not all too bothered by ammo costs (especially later on in the game) and Ranged weaponry deals nice damage early on. I do tend to stock up on Magic weaponry as well, as sometimes guns just don't cut it in Hardmode.

Although oddly, my main 1.2.x playthrough, I ended up being Summoner-Magic for the most part. Keeping my summons to do extra damage for me while I take stuff down with the Nimbus Rod and Rainbow Gun I lucked out in getting. ;D

( Also, SO MUCH HYPE for the huge 1.3 Update coming in THREE DAYS! )

EDIT: IT'S HERE \o/

Not hyped for the update. Gj messing up the grapple hook thing and you can't set it back to mouse button either wtf dudes.

Terraria is one of the games that I got just so I could play with my boyfriend. We played for a really long time and I loved building things for the NPCs and exploring, but after a while we explored the whole world we were in and didn't really feel like playing anymore. I haven't played since then, & I might try the new update out but I don't think I will anytime soon tbh.

Oho, I've been playing the new update and it is SWEET~ It's like Terraria recieved an awesome coat of polish, and it's great.

Also, yo-yos are OP.
