T.E uses code that afaik does read your game to see how many people are on your island, which I believe is ToS abuse for NSO? And I've already run into issues with them on the 3DS for homebrew some time ago because I found out you could make custom villagers and I wanted to make my cat into a villager on NL, lol. So I'm not comfy using it, just in case. ): I also don't like sending out unending DMs of Dodo codes tbh, haha. Thanks for the advice, though. :'D Just doesn't quite suit me, unfortunately.

No that's OK! If be amazed if it did! I could see nooklink doing something weird like that, but usually people remove and add themselves which is why the disappear, if maybe that's what you're thinking? Either way, it's cool! I'm not judging

No, not out of the queue. It actually accesses who's on the island.
They may have changed some things since then, but there was a lot of reverse engineering info posted around by several places, but here's one I found.
Can say for sure it did at the very least USED to access that info when it first started because I tried to use it with my own second Switch to test, and did indeed find it knew the moment my other island disconnected. Was very disconcerting, and I don't like the potential of the looming banhammer, haha.
