TBT Halloween costume contest

If someone on this forum hosted a Halloween costume contest would you participate? Would you help host? What would make good prizes? As a basement dweller I don't get out much which might be why no one knows me but hey I'm out. I'm considering hosting a constume contest here if I'm not busy on Halloween. Maybe I'll even make it a week long event. I'm not sure yet. I don't even have much to giveaway in terms of prizes but I still would love to hear everyone's ideas on this

Oh joy! It just seemed like a nice idea since we're getting new customizable skin colors and eyes. So I'm excited to see everyone's new looks!

If TBT's Halloween festivities aren't cancelled in light of how long the TBT Fair 2020 was around and how much work went into it, I wouldn't be surprised if a costume contest might be one of the events. I'm unsure whether to expect Halloween on TBT this year since the day & night cycle hasn't yet returned to the forums since the upgrade to TBT 3.0, so that makes me wonder whether The Woods section used during Halloween and Friday the 13ths will show up.

It might be good to loosely plan in case there isn't an official TBT costume contest, but probably better to wait until deeper into October to see what develops.

I would do all the above! Some good prizes might be non orderable items (art, insect sculptures, Gulliver/Gulivarr items). Week long event could be cool maybe with different costume contest themes on different days?

I wonder if you could get a team of people to host (idk like 5-7 judges or something) and rotate who's gonna host the contest on a specific day and the judges not hosting decide the winner(s)? Or you could do something like we did on the recent fair where you put together outfits and take a screengrab and post it so more people can enter on one of the days. So many possibilities!

Wait- real life costumes, or game costumes? I'd 100% participate in a game costume one, but IDK about real life costumes.
Also, if there is a game costume one, can I make a suggestion? Having two categories- one for costumes with custom designs, one for costumes without!
