I'm not quite sure how it works either. From what I remember the usual conversions rate was always 200k in-games bells for 1 bell tree bells. I can help you out, but I'm not sure how much you're looking for.

The conversion rate I've seen used most on here is 1 TBT = 200,000 InGameBells - just like Ryumia mentioned. Lately some people have offered 250,000 IGB per 1 TBT but most people follow the 1 TBT = 200,000 IGB conversion. I hope this helps!
