Tangy's moving.... Wait she's still here?!

So I'm so confused. I found out yesterday that Tangy was moving (I cried for a few because she's my favorite villager in the entire game) but I went to my town just now and she's still there, sleeping, but it's 7:00am where I live! Now call me a noob, but I NEED to ask... why is she still there?! I mean I'll take it if she's not really moving, because like I said, she's my FAVORITE

Because when they say a date the leave it's mean they be on boxes the entire day
Until someone adopts them and the next day if the villager it's not adopted they go into the "void"
And the only way to get them back it's by
Moving after that villager 16 more villager
So you can get her back

I have never seen this. I guess it could be a glitch? Wait until Tangy wakes up or tt to the time hes awake and see if he's still in boxes

I've never had this

They're packed up one day, and the house is gone the next. Doesn't matter if I've voided them or someone has adopted them, the house has always been gone the next day.

Am I the only one this happens with?



It seems a bit odd for the OP's situation though, as they said Tangy is there and asleep, surely it should say moved out?

Check back in a bit, when she's awake. If she isn't in boxes anymore, I'd say she isn't moving after all?

No it doesn't.
Villagers will leave their house behind when someone has invited them on that day but it still wouldn't be there the next day.

If not, I am really not sure what could have happened. The good news is that after the next update, you might be able to get Tangy back via Amiibo.

Happened to my gf with Agnes. Agnes was in boxes, but the next day she was in town still. She never actually moved out at all???

That's bizarre. Could you maybe tt to the next day and see what happens? I'm guessing she would have to be gone by then? Just to clarify, is she in boxes again today or just living there as normal? Whichever the case I have never heard of it before and I've moved out a lot of villagers. Hope she stays for you (as strange as that would be under the circumstances)

i'm extremely confused to what is happening to you, i can't comprehend what you're talking about. but if the villager is in boxes, and the next day they have not moved, it must be some glitch. you can try tting to see if she's still there. but if she asked to move and you said yes, and the next day she's still there, her move date isn't there yet.

This confuses me, this actually happened to me on my first ever new leaf town, but this brought bad news...
To cut a long story short, I had time travelled for 10 years (in my defense I was 9) hoping miraculously Roald would move out so there I was travelling and nothing happened, so I looked on the internet and it told me how to move villagers out so I did it and when Roald got in boxes about a week later, I travelled back to the correct time and expected Roald gone, (because if I'm correct going back any period of time classes as one day) and he was still there, I then thought hmm maybe I should time travel a day forward thinking I may of accidently done something wrong however he was still there so then I tried to fix the problem by going forward back to 2023 and unsurprisingly Roald was still there! So then I started to panic time travelling here there and everywhere until about the 7th time I went to do it and my town was glitching and then the message -game card has been removed appeared so I went to the home menu and tried to load up my town and then all that happened is as I opened the game, New save file appeared and my town was gone.
I know, I know this is a long message and this may worry you slightly this has not occured again in the 3 years of playing so in theory this should not happen at all and hopefully it is a low chance of happening. But hopefully I have helped to try and resolve what the problem is so you know not to repeatedly time travel in a mad panic... But then again I hope this isn't the problem because I don't have the slightest of a clue what you do with the glitched villager...
