I have 7/10 dreamies, but I want to take a 3 week break from ACNL. I'm afraid that one of them or more will move out while I'm gone. Is there a way I can make sure they all stay, without having to check everyday? I really want to cut off ALL THE WAY so I can get a new spark of excitement right as summer starts. Please help.

Remember the day you stop playing. When you come back, make it so the time is the date you left off. You'll be three three weeks behind normal time, but you should be able to slowly TT back to the present. Since it will be like when you left off, all of your dreamies would still be in your town. I haven't tested this out myself, I've only read about, though. ^^'

this involves time travel so please disregard if this isn't what you want to do...

I usually record the day I last play and then after break, TT through every day I missed... crazy, I know, but for me, this is the only way for me to be 100% sure nothing crazy will happen in my absence.

and you get to be caught up and not have to worry about villagers leaving!

I've heard that if someone pings you to move and you tell them not to leave and if you don't play again after that day, no one will move out, even if you take a long break.

However, just to be safe, when you start the game on the first day you play again, create a new character and check to see if anyone has moved out before playing with your mayor (or any other characters you've already created). Then you can TT back and stop them from moving out.

look at your activity log for the last day you played. Then change your 3DS clock back to that date, and TT day by day until someone pings you to move. When they do, reject their offer of moving, and then after that you can TT any date into the future and no one will move :) (If you use this method you'll def. have bedhead and you'll also have to talk to everyone again asap, because someone will def want to move at that point)

either remember last date played, or wait until someone asks to move out, deny them, then save and quit and dont touch it. thats what ive done for three of my copies, but i also have the dates written down in case that goes awry. it shoudlnt tho.
