Super dumb question about Club Tortimer...

According to IG, If I use the "home" button, anything in my item drop off box will be sold for bells. I'm currently getting trapped by someone and it looks to be my only option. But I don't wanna lose the stuff in my drop off box. Will that ACTUALLY happen or is that a typo?

I think they meant anything in your pockets. I can't see a reason why they would sell the contents of your box, since that would negate its entire purpose.

That's what I thought. But since it specifically mentioned the drop off box and not my inventory, I wasn't sure...can anyone else confirm as well?

It's only your pocket items that get sold. I use the Phone to go home all the time and the stuff in the box is there when I get back.
