Sumo ring flooring broken post-update?

Is anyone else having a problem with this? The sumo ring flooring shows up as a blank spot in storage, and when you put it as your floor in your house, it does this weird blinking thing.

For those wondering, I haven't ever hacked or traded for hacked items or anything like that. This was not a problem for me until this new update that just came out last night.

Anyone else have glitchy flooring?? My Sumo Ring floor is glitching out

So today I noticed I had a blank space in my storage in the flooring section. Turns out I have a very glitchy Sumo Ring floor. I don't hack or trade with people that hack, so Idk what the dealio is with this floor?? Is this happening to anyone else? Maybe it's just the Sumo Ring? Should I get...

OK, thanks everyone! I'm sure Nintendo will fix this in a future update. Luckily I wasn't trying to use this floor right now. I just got it out of storage to check it out when I saw it looked like a blank spot when going through my stuff.

Yes, the sumo flooring is now a camo item (as a result of a glitch, not as a hacked item).

If anyone has the sumo flooring, you should play with it before they patch the game again. Try using the flooring with 3D wallpapers. It will adapt to the texture of the walls

I noticed this happened to mine yesterday. Glad to see it's not just mine so it means that a patch to fix it should be forthcoming. Hopefully it's safe to keep until it's fixed, I don't really want to throw it away or anything.

Just checked this out and gotta say this is a cool glitch, it pretty much changes and matches any wallpaper that you put up!

Like I put the kisses wallpaper up and it changes and looks exactly like the wallpaper just as flooring haha.

Omg yes! My bf had it in his house and we just thought our game wasn’t loading properly or was glitching. Which I guess it was glitching just wasn’t exclusive to us lol. He ended up replacing it with the boxing ring flooring

In our game it looks different depending on who walks in the house. For the house owner there is a blinking light happening and the floor matches the wallpaper, blue. For everyone else, when you walk in that house the floor is brown, then flashes and changes to a different brown floor that looks to have a few missing floorboards. It’s really neat. Going into a different room resets it so when you walk in the floor is normal and brown then it flashes and changes to one missing a couple boards.

yeah, I noticed that too. I thought my glasses were just too dirty, glad I'm not the only one with a glitched Sumo Ring... And I'm glad I'm not using it. I can see how this could happen in theory- I've made a mod for Stardew Valley, and it is very easy for one small mistake to make bigger mistakes, but I'm not sure how they messed up the flooring unless they added new ones... oh wait. I just remembered the mermaid set was added. Duh.
So I can see how it would happen, but at the same time this is something they should've checked... oh well. They'll fix it, I'm sure.
