Stupid experiences with Porter?

Wow, tried to enter a town which only had ONE VISITOR, but then he says "it is full" and when i came back to it, IT WASN'T FULL and it ONLY HAD ONE VISITOR!
Ugh!

What were your stupid experiences with Porter?

This has happened to me before too. I've even gone back later to that same town and it accepted me... Weird.

Maybe someone else was trying to get into that town too, since this process takes time it won't let you take the train until that person finally arrives into your friend's town.

Porter will say somethings not working if that's the case.

I had this happen when I was trying, along with a bunch of other people, to visit a Korean town on Chuseok to get a Songpyeon.

I think it could just be lag. Like in the time between when the game sent me the info that the town was open and only had one visitor and when I tried to visit said town, the town had filled up.
