It's their thread and villager. They can give the villager to whoever really. I can get my 6 year old stitches from my cycling or another thread. it's no big deal.

sorry i should've made it more clear, i just meant that i wanted their friend code to be visible so i didnt need to ask for it, but i've already traded him over
