Are you an idiot, or are you just new to auctions? The whole point of bidding is to raise the bid little by little to win the object in question, and get the lowest price for it. By raising it higher and higher, it just annoys everyone, and you waste more of your money.

Wow not an idiot at all, and yeah I am new to the auctions. The whole point of an auction is to bid higher than the other person to get what you want, and I've been looking for Stitches for a long time so excuse me for wanting to bid a little bit higher than you in order to secure him.

^ that was unnecessarily rude, you could have stated that a little nicer. Besides, if they want to bid higher so they have more chance at getting the villager, it's up to them. The whole point of bidding is outbidding others. There are no max increments, only minimums.
