I rather like that the sale is just static the whole time now. I can sleep in and not worry about missing a set of flash sales.
And I can load up everything in my cart right now and see what the damage is gonna be. That's nice.
I haven't really picked up anything yet, unless we're counting a $1 bundle that, surprisingly, had 1 of my top 5 wishlist things in it. But I probably won't get a whole lot this sale. I think my backlog is plenty big as it is, haha.
But I gotta wait a day or two, anyway, and from what I can see the occasional title is still going on sale every now and then. The store page says 10,025 titles on sale now, and (tho I know it's not all games and DLC; movies and software, too) that's still about 40 more than I saw when I got up. There's also a handful of pricing errors already, lol. So I'll see how it's looking tomorrow or somethin'.
I do plan to pre-order Resident Evil 0 during the sale, for the silly bonuses, but that's not on sale, so
Out of the sales on my wishlist, I'll probably shoot for:
- Dark Souls 2: SotFS
- Castaway Paradise (it's like Animal Crossing on PC!)
- Armello (it's half the price on Nuuvem, if anyone else was looking at it)
- Kyn
- King's Quest: Chapter 1 is only a dollar. As a seasoned veteran of the originals, I'll have to get it and try it.
- Maybe Victor Vran and/or The Talos Principle
- And sprinkle a few horror games on top
