So Valve is derping around with console gaming again. Gabe Talks! This'll be interesting. Valve could actually take corner the console market, assuming this is cheap. Rumors have been floating around that each system will have about 1TB of internal memory and they're working with the XI3 people. What are your thoughts?

I'm not ready for new consoles yet.

But I'm not sure what to think about Valve making their own console.. they would have to bring something other than memory to the table to compete.

In my opinion, it just seems a little odd to make a console when many people prefer computer gaming. But hey, I suppose it would be interesting as long as the console and the games for it can compete with whats on the market right now.

I hate console gaming.
But it's great for keeping a lot of the (insert fitting word here) off Steam.

Again, though, it's not a true console. It's basically a small PC with the power of ten PCs. Example: The Xi3 Piston that valve is helping develop (completely different than the Steam Box (codename: BigFoot and LittleFoot)) is a PC that goes onto the back of a monitor and has an interchangeable mother board and such so that it never goes out of date.

Article sounded like a lot of... vague ideas. Very little substance there.
