Starting a new town at the start of the month and TTing to correct time

It was something I did on my second town when I started it on October 15th, 2014. I set the date to 10/1/14 then TT'ed to 10/15/14 (A day or two later as this was a slightly long process), and not TT again. The question is did you do this, or something similar to this, or would you do this?

I did something similar. I reset my town in January, 2016. I set the date back to December 25th, 2014 (the day I got the game). I TT'd day by day until real time.

I set Sagemoore to the day I got Parkfeld, and started it there. (December 18, 2014) I then Time travelled a year to the correct day.

I wanted Sagemoore to be a copy / corrupted version of Parkfeld, so...

I did as when I first got the game it was for my birthday so it ended up sitting in its box for almost 6 months. Wanted to start it on my birthday so I set it to June 28th and tt'd forward from there. At that time I wasn't on here so I didn't have any dreamies or anything to worry about. Also wasn't particularly thinking I would get into the game as much as I have which is why I ended up with a layout I really don't like and wishing I could change my town name
