Start a cycling thread or just giveaway villagers?

I just restarted my cycling town and I'm debating whether or not to start a cycling thread. I can't cycle everyday but I can often during the weekdays. My other alternative is to just secretly giveaway any semi popular villagers.
What's your thought?

I'll always go with cycling. Even if you end up voiding a lot, I still find it to be easier.

Cycling Thread! But, make it like a shop. Give the hours you intend to cycle and what days, Maybe time zone? This let's people know instantly whether they'll even been on when you cycle a villager they're looking for out. c:

(I've only seen one person whine, but I felt so bad for the person with the cycle town. The whiner had been lurking for a while, but always when the cycling wasn't going on--different time zones. So when a certain popular villager was cycled out to someone else, the person complained that they'd been lurking for days and should've gotten first dibs. Even though they were offline and the cycle town would've been on hold until the villager was picked up...)

I just giveaway villagers that move out on Reddit and by messaging people in the "Looking For" thread because I'm not committed enough to do it everyday.
That's just me though.
