I'm really interested in the series and I would like to hear your thoughts on it. Does Command resemble 64 or should I just download that game? Maybe I should wait for Star Fox Wii.

And what are your thoughts on Adventures and Assault? Should I play them or skip them?

Command > 64

I highly recommend buying Star Fox Command and downloading Star Fox 64.
Star Fox Wii might not be released until 2009 so don't wait.
Assault was an awesome game. It's one of my favorite GCN games.
Adventures is decent but it isn't like the other Star Fox games.

If you don't own Command, buy it.
Download Star Fox 64.
Don't wait for Star Fox Wii.
Play Assault again.
Play Adventures again.

K, I'll get Command before I go on my trip during spring break. It should give me something to do in the car.

There are a lot of alternate endings to Command so you'll get a lot of replay value out of it. I might review it tomorrow.
Also, download Star Fox 64.

In my opinion...

SF64 > Adventures > Assault > SNES = Command

Command wasn't a bad game, per say. But it had no voice acting... what's a Star Fox game without voice acting?! It also included the iffy strategy elements... meh. Touch controls were great, as were graphics. But overall, nothing too spectacular.

SF64 will forever remain the best Star Fox ever. <3

-_- Star Fox 64 = One of the Worst Star Fox Games

I personally didn't like it. Command was a lot better.

That's just my opinion though.

I can has question?

Adventures and Command are the only two Star Fox games I've played, other than the 3-minute demo on Brawl. DO all Star Fox gmaes play like Command, where you plot a course for each ship and then only actually control the ship when you get into a battle with an enemy, or are you commanding one ship the entire time?

I remember adventures being really difficult. But then again i haven't played it since i was nine...

I found Adventures hard too.
I still finished the game. I think it took me a week to complete.

You may want to clear the mud out of your eyes after that statement bud. Actually, it's probably that you were too young to enjoy it, so I won't blame you. It's your opinion.

But in all honesty, Starfox 64 was probably the best Starfox of all time. It was awesome for it's time, had great voice acting, and there were very few flaws, unlike Starfox Command, such as the ones Bul pointed out.

SF64 > Assault > Command > Adventures > SNES

when looking at star fox games I don't think you can compare adventures because it is closer to a 3d legend of zelda game the way you play it...

but star fox 64 is definately the best thusfar.... command was just like 64 except for how you control the ships n the map.... and only had the spread out battles... none of the linear travel that I thought rocked...

now assualt just didn't get it quite right in my mind, the out of ship stuff didn't work so well...

I don't see how command could be better.... 64 has all but the map movement in it...and slightly different enemies...

I think 64 was great and Command was pretty good, but how can anyone say that Assault was good?
I played it mostly with friends screwing around in multiplayer, so I always seem to remember that and how many laughs we got out of it.

Agreed.

Nothing like 64.

Meh, I might download 64. Next time I get some Wii Points that is.. Just blew my last few hundred the other day so... Yeah.

Also, how's Assault's multiplayer? I've heard decent things about it before, but I was just wondering.
