Since olaf moved in last and hes #10, it's not easy to make him leave. I'm stubborn so I was hoping TTing was going to help but I still haven't gotten him out. I've been trying for almost 3 days now and I'm tired and annoyed and I can't work on my town knowing he's living in my town. So I decided to try and get sprinkle out and move in daisy, that way olaf won't be the last one to move in anymore and it'll increase the chance of him leaving.

But the problem is, all the time i've been TTing, the only villager who hasn't asked to move other than olaf is sprinkle. Not once ever for the whole time i've played acnl (2 months). I like sprinkle but I really want daisy and kabuki to move in so she's gotta go. I'm so frustrated that all my villagers but the two I want to leave haven't asked at all. I seriously can't concentrate playing without completing my list of dream villagers. I really wish you could have more than 10 villagers, this would make my situation so much easier. I kinda wanna give up but idk, for now ill keep tting.

Um?. Tting? I'm new to the abbreviations and acronyms and such on here..

Tting means time travelling, as in changing the date/or time on your game via Isabelle or the 3DS internal clock to make the date or time appear different in game. :)

To answer Dash's question though, have you tried talking to Sprinkle or Olaf while time travelling? villagers won't ping unless you've talked to them recently. Also from experience usually, the better friends you are with a villager the more likely they are to want to move out. There's also a method that i've seen floating around the ACNL boards to help with moving villagers that you want out without having to cycle. I think the method goes like this, you talk to only the villagers you want to move away for a period of time and eventually they'll ping you wanting to leave. I'm not too sure what the time period of that is or the specifics of it, but i'm sure somebody knows what i'm talking about. :)

I hope Sprinkle didn't come from scanning her amiibo. If not, well, I'd say just continue being patient. It's still completely random so hopefully the game would eventually chose her. Make sure to talk to her once in a while (like every 5-7 days) while on the process or she won't ping.

I find they move easy if you ignore the ones you want to keep an continuously talk to one villager and they will mention someone moving if the one you want to keep is mentioned talk to them and you can convince them to stay etc

If Sprinkle is the only villager of her type (Peppy) in the town, the game can and will prioritize getting out other villagers first. If you have three Smugs and only one Peppy, the Smug villagers will ask to move out a lot more frequently.

Also, if you got Sprinkle in by scanning in an Amiibo card, I'm not sure if she can move out on her own. I keep hearing the Amiibo-scanned villagers don't like to move.

If she's just a regular villager, just treat her like any other villager. Don't ignore her. Seriously, don't. It'll only make her think you're not friends. At best, she won't ping you until you talk to her, because she'll have words for you about not talking to her in too long. At worst, she WILL ping you to move, then decide to stay because you're not close enough friends for her to feel happy about leaving.

Please don't listen to people saying ignoring them works. It doesn't. You have to talk to them every now and then, or they won't ping you to move. I ignored Frita, hit her, all of that, and when she asked to move and I told her to, she said "We're clearly not good enough friends, so I'm staying until we become closer! (LAUGHS EVILLY)"

Seriously. Listen to MorningStar.

Tried the methods and Olaf and sprinkle still haven't pinged. I haven't been talking to my other villagers and they still keep asking to move and I've been talking to Olaf and sprinkle everyday and they still won't leave. Guess it'll take longer than I thought.

update- sprinkle is finally moving! I did get her to ping after talking to her more but she was only asking for favors and other things. Finally can move in daisy and it'll be easier for olaf to ping. thanks for the suggestions.

edit- ended up hating sprinkle, she was hard to get out and her head is abnormally round.

Edit- just got olaf to move out, my plan worked out.
