I was curious as to if anyone else has watched the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett and what were your thoughts on it?

Personally, I loved the first episode and I think from what I have seen so far I might like it better than the Mandalorian. I think it's great they brought back Temuera Morrison from playing Jango Fett to now play Boba Fett and it's just great to see a classic and beloved Star Wars character get their own show. So far, I have loved the "rule with respect and not fear" message and I think it was brilliantly portrayed through his current actions and that with the Sand People. My one question is, what changed in the short time Boba was in the Sarlacc that he went from the ruthless bounty hunter that Vader told to bring the bounties alive, to a now more merciful person?

I watched it last night as well and I do agree that it so far is looking to be even better than The Mandalorian. I didn't realize the same actor as Jango was playing Boba, that is really cool! I also like that message being portrayed too, sounds very Mandalorian-like especially when you understand how Mandalorians find respect in others through their actions and in battle (I think the Sand People are exhibiting that as well). In terms of what happened to Boba, I think he changed through defeat (from Luke in Episode 6) and being in a life & death situation as a result. Humbling experiences can really change a person and usually for the better. He also lost his armor which is a huge part of Mandalorian warrior culture which makes the situation just that more humbling for Boba.
