I got on this morning before work to do my simple dailies, like finding fossils, when I seen K.K. Slider in the plaza. I don't Time Travel, so it was weird. I figured the game was just going to give us him 2x a week. So I go to him, and he asks if I wanna hear a song. I agree to hear it. There was no option to to request, so I figured, okay, maybe the song requests will stay exclusive to Saturdays.


He then says he is going to play K.K. Birthday for me.


And then this happens

This caught me way off guard. What's weird though is the last one is from a friend, and not an NPC. I'll have to ask him how he got that set up.

One last note, my birthday isn't until tomorrow (Saturday), so I am guessing the game did this 1 day early as not to disrupt K.K.'s Saturday night performances.

Everyone's got KK today because of the fishing tournament, it's not just you, so that makes me wonder if that changes anything (like that he would normally come on your birthday). But cool to know! I didn't get him for my birthday, since it was before I unlocked him, so I didn't realize this was a thing.

It's possible then that this happens on the Saturday that occurs during everyone's birthday week. Which explains why I got this a day early

No. Since the game only showed letters from 2 villagers, 1 of which I have low friendship level with, it's possible it won't show them all, because the K.K. song isn't long enough.

I'll be asking Jason later today about the letter. I don't know how sending birthday letters works yet.

I'll need to check my mailbox, I think K.K. said I have copies of the BD letters
