Splatoon Splatoon: Favourite and least favourite maps?

Hey,
Just wandering what maps you guys like the most. The maps include: Urchin underpass, Walleye Warehouse, Saltspray Rig, Blackbelly Skatepark and Arowana mall. My personal favourite is blackbelly skatepark, and my least favourite would have to be urchin underpass. What are yours?

Least favorite is a definite Walleye Warehouse, mostly because it got stale from the demo.

But I like everything else equally. XP

My least favorite out of the 5 maps currently available in the game is Walleye Warehouse. The problem with it is that the vast majority of the walls there won't let you scale over it, therefore cutting a lot of interesting strategies and forcing you to rely on ground movement whenever you want to evade away from the needless chaos. And the visuals here are pretty dull, too. It's definitely far away from being a bad stage because it accommodates more to the newbies who aren't used to the wall mechanics, but overall it's just "meh".

Blackbelly Skatepark is probably my favorite map so far. The layout is so interesting that it gives pretty much every weapon (even any Splat Charger) an equal chance of contributing to the victory. It's also one of the most visual appealing maps in the game before the free DLC comes in.

I have yet to play Arowana Mall but otherwise so far I like the Walleye Warehouse and Blackbelly Skatepark best not really sure why I guess They are the only ones I don't feel lost in so far. I currently don't really dislike any of them, though there are others I need to get better at that's for sure.

The only one I really dislike is Walleye Warehouse, but that's more that I'm a bit more tired of it since I got that almost all the time with the testfire. It's still a good map though.


I like Saltspray Rig though, I barely got it on the testfire so it didn't get boring. I like Urchin Underpass as well

I like Saltspray Rig a lot. It's great for rollers. I haven't really played enough to pick a least favourite map yet, though I'm not a big fan of Walleye Warehouse.

My favourite would probably have to be Blackbelly Skatepark and least favourite would be Arowana Mall... I don't know why, they just are as of right now XD

Walleye warehouse is definitely least fav because earlier I played on it like 8 times in a row....... Saltspray rig is a close 2nd

My absolute fav is Arowana mall. I tend to do well on that stage c;;

I really ate the demo ones because they got old but i really like arowana mall because it's pretty.

Guess this is unpopular but I don't really like Blackbelly Skatepark that much. That and Walleye Warehouse are definitely my bottom two, don't know which one I like less.

My favorite is Arowana Mall.

Okay I hate the Mall in ranked battles, it feels so incredibly cluttered and just... bleh.
Port Mackerel is fun and I really want to try it in ranked battles.

My favs are Saltspray Rig and Arowana Mall. Saltspray probably wins it because I've had some great matches where I've staved off the other team from the top section alone while my teammates cover the rest. I love defending on that stage. The mall would be first though if it wasn't for the damn water with mesh over it that I keep accidentally falling through. D:

Least fav is Bellyback as it's so hard to navigate with the roller.



However. On Splat zones, Bellyback is my fav. And so far Saltspray is my least fav. So a complete turnaround there. I love the split zone in bellyback, while Saltsprays high walls make it too difficult to keep track over the large area. Atleast Bellybacks count as 2 areas so you get the alerts for the one you can't see.
Haven't played Port Mackeral on splat zones yet though.
