Well, I'm not a fan of the singing/dancing and apparently it's considering "arrogant" if you don't learn the tradition before going into solo flamenco. Some have told me that my chords/rhythms aren't flamenco, also. Funny thing is, those same people can't really define what is flamenco and what isn't. I just learned to shrug, nod my head, and do what I do anyway. I'm having fun and (most) others enjoy it, and I think that's what matters, ultimately.

Had a foreign exchange student from Spain this July.. whole month.

Cool kid, I'll have to make a topic sometime and share stories/pictures. It was so cool watching the Spain World Cup matches with him being from Spain and all.
