I am getting the game on the PlayStation 3 and I will be getting the Sonic Generations Special Edition so that I can play the game and I will be getting the limited edition Sonic Generations Collector's Edition to keep as a collector's item (as it's name implies)

i know this sounds stupid, but if city escape isnt epic then im not going to buy it. it only interested me since city escape was my favourite sonic level in any game when i was growing up.

I'm not getting it, but I am going to the midnight release with a friend of mine who loves sonic. I'm gonna play it to see if it's actually worth getting.

For the 3DS or different copy? I don't remember a disc version being announced for the 360/PS3.

But the game is obviously coming out on 360 and PS3.. How did you play the demo??

And there's a physical copy I think. You can get it at Gamestop for the XBOX360/PS3/3DS. And they have demos at most of the Cons.

I haven't been closely paying attention, so correct me if I'm truly wrong, but the only copy of Sonic Generations that'll be physical is the 3DS version. 360/PS3/PC will be download only, European/Australian Collector's Editions included(vouchers).

You're wrong.
I had it pre-ordered at Gamestop for the longest time, but then cancelled it. Theres not sense in pre-ordering the regular version if it's an online game.

You can pre-order the Call of Duty map packs too and they're those silly little points card things. Or the code is printed on the receipt. Just because you can pre-order it doesn't mean its physical.

Nope. I'm like 99.99% sure it's a disc. (I'M GOING TO THE MIDNIGHT RELEASE. WHY WOULD I IF IT WERE DOWNLOADABLE LOL)

If im correct it's gonna be on 3DS, Wii, PS3, and Xbox360. I'm pretty sure you do levels with one level being Classsic Sonic (the short one) then the next level is Modern Sonic (the tall one). That's all I know about the game.

It won't be on the Wii.
